The transformation of agricultural ecology emphasizes the active adaptation and protection of natural environment. Through the transformation of agricultural production mode and industrial structure adjustment， the transformation of agricultural development mode， the upgrading of development quality and the improvement of development efficiency can be realized. Taking Bayannur of Inner Mongolia as an example， this paper analyzes the main problems and the practical exploration in the agricultural ecological transformation in recent years in western China， and summarizes the beneficial experience in the transformation of agricultural ecology. Some suggestions were put forward， such as gradually establishing agricultural support system oriented by green ecology， further promoting ecological transformation of small farmers， establishing market system suitable for agricultural ecological development， and paying attention to systematic thinking in agricultural ecological transformation.
