Abstract

Globally-oriented agriculture serves as a crucial industry for promoting prosperity and well-being of border regions. It has yet to become an engine for regional economic growth， constrained by challenges including homogeneous product structures， truncated industrial chains， limited capital attraction， insufficient international competitiveness， and ecological pressures. Data elements can assist border agriculture through precision farming， intelligent whole-chain management， fintech innovations， and ecological monitoring. These approaches help diversify product portfolios， strengthen and extend industrial chains， expand financing channels， and align with high-standard economic and trade rules. Consequently， they enhance the competitiveness of agricultural products and services in international markets， facilitating the transformation of border economic development models from "transit economy" to "hub economy".
