Enhancing the level of rural governance is one of the core objectives of the current "Three Rural" work，and high-quality development of education plays an important role in this process，providing intellectual support for rural governance while empowering rural scientific and technological innovation and new productivity generation. While high-quality development of education can cultivate professionals to meet the needs of modernization of Chinese-style rural governance and promote the coordinated development of rural society and economy， high-quality development of education in the process of modernization of rural governance faces a series of practical problems such as imbalance of regional educational resources，loss of talents in the countryside，and lack of adaptability of educational content. This paper discusses the logical relationship and practical problems between high-quality development of education and the modernization of Chinese-style rural governance，and designs the future path for high-quality development of education to empower the modernization of Chinese -style rural governance.
