Digital Inclusive Finance is expected to break the "28 law" of the financial industry and provide more financial opportunities and services for rural residents. Based on the panel data of 16 prefecture level cities in Anhui Province from 2013 to 2020, this paper constructs a fixed effect model to empirically explore whether the development of digital inclusive finance can narrow the urban-rural income gap, and uses DEA method to evaluate the efficiency of digital Inclusive Finance on the convergence effect of urban-rural income gap. The results show that: 1) the development of digital inclusive finance can effectively reduce the income gap between urban and rural areas; 2) The improvement of regional education investment has a negative effect on narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas; 3) The increase of regional urbanization rate and the proportion of government expenditure can effectively narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas; 4) Both high and low economic development level areas can converge the urban-rural income gap, and the convergence effect of high economic development level areas is stronger. Therefore, we should vigorously develop digital Inclusive Finance, narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas with the help of its universality and convenience, and improve the welfare level of all residents.
